As an educator, it was important for me to regularly connect with my students to gauge their progress in their studies, assignments, and personal lives. We are in the second week of 2024, so I want to extend that same practice to you. Here are lists that can serve as a tool for self-reflection. Take a moment today to check in with yourself and assess whether you are prioritizing activities that fuel your energy or if energy-draining factors are consuming your life.
As I navigate my life with cancer, I make a conscious effort to simplify my daily routine. I achieve this by making choices that eliminate or minimize activities that deplete my energy while incorporating or increasing activities that energize me. These lists serve as my guide, helping me establish my intentions for each new day. Join me in reducing the energy takers and embracing the energy givers. We deserve this positive shift in our lives!
Eliza Marie, the sweet little Angel you held in your arms is now in the arms of her great grandmother, your mom and I bet they are watching over you now and forever.❤️❤️🙏🦋😇
I love the list of "energy givers"! Could add to this list "surrounding yourself with positive people", as I find this certainly gives me energy. 😀
